The Details

The majority of my laser cut art contain 9 individual sheets of either texture or smooth cardstock. Each of the sheets contain 6 registration holes.

The bottom sheet contains no cutouts. Each subsequent sheet contains cutouts that expose the color of the previous sheet. Each sheet is adhered to the previous sheet with crafting tape.

The frame is 12” x 12” with outer dimensions 13” x 13”. The matte is cut to an opening of 11.5” x 11.5”.

Most of the cutouts are geometric shapes like rectangles, ellipses, triangles and polygons.

Most of my pieces utilize radial symmetry, with the standard angles being divisions of 360°.
